Job Title: Database Administrator
Job Location: Sterling, VA

Job Duties: Plan and implement security measures to safeguard the company’s electronic information; modify and test changes to company’s existing databases and database management systems; identify and evaluate industry trends in database systems to advice upper management regarding new systems to support the company’s remodeling services; specify users and user access levels for each segment of database; plan and install upgrades of database management system software to enhance database performance; develop standards and guidelines for the use and acquisition of software to reduce operational costs for remodeling projects; plan and supervise the installation and testing of new products and improvements to company’s computer systems.

Requirements: Position requires Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Big Data Analytics or a closely related field.  Position also requires at least 6 months of experience in the job offered or in the alternate occupation of Technical Support Specialist. The required experience must have been gained in a company that is engaged in providing remodeling or construction services.
